Nearly Caught Up
Nov 2, 2014
|I guess it has become the norm for us to have our morning coffee outdoors with the fireplace and the babbling fountain.
I know there will be some rainy or chilly mornings when we’ll stay indoors, but for now, we are sure enjoying ourselves.
We ate breakfast and lunch outdoors today, enjoying the awesome weather here in the valley.
Marilyn fixed pumpkin spice English muffins, and served them with fresh strawberries, kiwi, and blackberries. All washed down with orange juice. Healthy and tasty!
We finished more chores today and feel that we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I took the truck to have it washed and waxed today, and Marilyn finished the laundry.
I grilled some portabella mushrooms stuffed with spinach and mozzarella cheese, then put a steak on the grill with fresh spears of asparagus. That was our lunch today.
Later in the afternoon, Bob & Janet stopped by, joined a few minutes later by Mike & Marian. Then Jesse & Ginger joined us also.
We visited and enjoyed the company of each other until it was nearly dark.
After our company left, Marilyn & I sat outdoors beside the fireplace for awhile, then closed things up and came inside the RV.
A good night of sleep with the windows open waits for us tonight.
Life is Good!
