|We spent our final days in Oregon in a flurry of garage sales, errands and goodbyes. A brief camping trip in Hood River with chums, watching windsurfing competitions and fireworks, provided a much needed interruption to packing and paperwork. Getting together with our original Portland friends (Carrs, Pilkingtons, Hogans, and Quirks), who we had known now for over 20 years, our children growing up together, made leaving even more difficult. The upcoming separation even threw off Dave and Fran's pong game, making Team Plunkington the victors of the night! Leaving our friends is the hardest part of this whole process.
