Left the north Bretagne coast with the rain at our back, and by the time we reached Rennes for a stop-over, it was sunny and warm. Another nice Bretagne town, and we headed again south to Vigneux-de-Bretagne, a tiny village where we've booked 2 nights at another Chambre d'Hote (B&B) while we explore Nantes.

Had a great dinner - though of course too much to eat, at a local restauarant called LA FERME, recommended by our British host who owns the Chambre d'Hote.

In Nantes, we first visited the Jules Verne Museum, a very quirky museum that just made us giggle for some reason - it was all in French but we did learn about ancient scuba diving and much more.

Saw the "machine"/mechanical elephant - very large, and headed to central Nantes for more typical tourist cruising - the Chateau de Nantes, Hotel de Ville (of course, as my quest to photograph all the Hotel de Ville's that I come across continues), lots of walking, etc.
