Marilyn & I barely had time for a cup of coffee together before she had to leave to be at our daughter’s home by 7:00 this morning.
She left the RV at 6:15 and that was my signal to get ready for my day.
I drove to the Clinic, arriving at 7:00, to have blood drawn at the Lab.
As I drove through town toward the Hospital campus, I noticed that the Riverboat was docked, and knew we could expect visitors to tour the cave.
Back at the RV by 8:00, I had a short wait before walking to work at the Cave.
I led two tours, back to back, and then had a break of an hour and a half before leading one more tour for the day.
By the time I arrived back at the RV, it was nearly time for Marilyn to wake Lauren and for us to take our granddaughter back to Palmyra to meet her Mommy.
We met Jennifer and took time to have a short visit before we hugged them goodbye and headed back home again.
It is only Monday and both of us are worn out!!
We collapsed into our recliners and just stayed put with our eyes closed, for awhile.
I fixed some turkey & gravy, mashed potatoes, and a veggie for dinner, allowing my dear wife to doze a bit longer.
It looks like one of those “early to bed” nights for us.
Life is Good!!
