Wonderful markets with unusual items in Door County.

Lots of outdoor dining too..

We loved all the cherry orchards and all the cherry products...yummy!

We loved all the parks too...

It is a beautiful place, we will be back for more of...

Last one!

This will be out last update from the Door Peninsula. We both agree, this is one of our favorite places we have visited in our six years on the road. We are planning a trip back for at least a month or two in the future. It is such a relaxing and beautiful area, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

It is a vacation destination truly “like nowhere else.” With more than 300 miles of spectacular shoreline and five majestic state parks. We saved some of those state parks for our next visit. We also saved a few of the lighthouses for or next trip. Door County is home to 11 lighthouses, some are only viewed by taking special tours, we hope to take one next time too.

We will be heading toward Michigan in the morning. I am adding a few pictures from our stay that didn’t make it on any of our Door County updates. Check back later for more from somewhere near the Wisconsin and Michigan border.
