Started in fog and for the next 30 Klm. By Figeac the sun had e merged for a comfortable. 22- 27

The ride - Vallee du Lot

Gently undulating by the river before a climb to Montredon. The ride is fast and by midday we reached the 48klm mark at Figeac

Coffee on a sunny terrace of the Hotel des Bains overlooking the Cele (the hotel owner was a cyclist and interested in our trip). Lunch was in the park by a canal a tributary of the Cele (Figeac)

The ride continues - Vallee du Cele

34 Klm along the Cele river in a gorge lined with granite. In the town of St sulpice we stopped to pick blackberries and to view the houses that have been built into the granite.

Ride ave speed 19.5klm p/h against an afternoon headwind


Gite St Pierre in marcilhac where we take the whole floor while the bikes went into the dank basement. It's a very hot day perfect for washing.

The fare

Grated carrot with vinegar & sultanas

The vibe

Argumentative due to some miscommunication. Eerily quiet for a Sunday. Not a soul in sight. Has the world ended? Without internet we'll never know.
