Dinner At Na Rai Thai Restaurant
Aug 15, 2014
|Yesterday was the last day this year, for friends Jeff & Nan to be here at Mountaindale.
With that in mind, four couples of us decided to have dinner together at a Thai restaurant called “Na Rai“, featuring Siam cuisine, in the south part of Colorado Springs.
Jesse & Ginger rode with Marilyn & I while Jeff & Nan followed us, with Eddie & Jan on board.
We noticed ominous looking dark clouds shrouding Pikes Peak as we drove toward the Springs, and sure enough, it rained on us nearly all the way.
I must report that we all enjoyed the meal, with quite a variety of Thai dishes ordered by the group.
The food was outstanding! Really tasty! The Green Curry Seafood I ordered was spicy enough to make the ice water desirable for sure.
I enjoyed an ice cold Thai beer and three glasses of ice water during the meal, but the food called me back for more every time!
I’m happy that my trusty photographer took her camera along, so I do have pictures to share with you.
This morning, we sat around Jeff’s campfire, until it was time for them to get going.
They were soon on the road, after sharing hugs and wishes for safe travel with the rest of us.
Jesse & Ginger moved into the space vacated by Jeff & Nan, so our happy band remains together, making happy hour quite convenient.
Marilyn & I enjoyed a scenic drive in the awesome weather, to Canon City, for a few supplies, then returned to the RV.
I sure enjoyed the leisurely trip with music on the radio and Marilyn by my side.
That, my friends, makes it easy to assure you that Life is Good!
