Display at Tatton Park Flower Show

Early this morning Kirsty and I left Hallthwaites to visit the Tatton Park Flower Show, this is held close to Knutsford which is quite close to Manchester just off the M6.

We got there just prior to opening time of 10.00 am and were able to visit all the stands, pavillions etc. with relative ease. There were 4 large pavillions, the RHS one, the Interflora Demonstration one, the Flower Clubs of England one, and another, then there were all the gardens outside, lots of nurseries, and stands selling general gardening innovations, and a large pavillion dedicated to Country Life, selling all manner of clothing, jewellery, food etc.

Lots of people were there with outdoor furniture, BBQ's, spas etc. and it was a much larger show than the Chelsea Flower Show. The weather held too so we were lucky.

We were finished by 2pm and managed to get out with no traffic hold-ups to head to North Wales where we were going to stay the night. We arrived at Colwyn Bay around 4pm, booked into a B&B and then headed to Conwy, further along the coast, to visit the Castle. The Conwy Castle is a marvellous old castle and it was fun climbing up the towers from which you got a marvellous view of the area. After the castle we had dinner at Alfredo's, an Italian Restaurant in the centre of town, then we toured around Llandudno and the Great Orme before heading back to Colwyn Bay for our overnight stay.
