|It took awhile for us to complete the morning chores and get ready to drive into town.
We spoke to the owner of the house we are renting for the winter, down in the Rio Grande Valley, and all is well with the lease.
We will occupy this residence from November 1st until May 1st.
We are hoping that our family will be able to visit us between Christmas and New Years. They are still trying to work it out.
Jennifer mentioned that Colby is racing his 4-wheeler at the Fair tomorrow, so I’ll include a couple pictures of each of the grandkids, to share with you dear readers.
Marilyn & I made a trip into Canon City to pick up supplies.
We decided to drive the truck because we had not driven it for a month or more. We had not even started it, but it started right up and ran smoothly.
On the way back home we noticed large, black couds over the mountains and, sure enough, it started raining on us before we arrived at our RV.
We unloaded groceries in the rain, but not much later, the rain stopped and the sun came out again, for awhile.
Marilyn went outdoors to the screened room, to read for awhile, but I stayed indoors, knowing that I would have to fight to keep my eyes open if I tried to read for more than a few minutes.
She came back in to watch “The Five” on TV.
It has been a good day today, and we look forward to whatever tomorrow brings.
Life is Good!
