Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

This Republic P-47 Razorback will be restored

Marilyn & I finished our morning coffee before Ken drove up to our Site.

I jumped into the car and we were off to have breakfast before going to the WWII Air Museum.

Marilyn elected to stay home today, saying she was going to enjoy a “Me Day”.

After breakfast, Jean and Jeanne drove off together to go shopping.

Ken, Roy, and me drove to the airport, located the museum and went inside.

We were part of a guided tour through history, and found the entire experience to be quite enjoyable.

The pictures of aircraft from WWII are on my phone and need to be downloaded before I can try to share them with you.

With the internet woes here, it may be a day or so before I have them available.

When the tour was over we drove to the “China Wok” for some lunch. Roy & Ken had not been here before and they enjoyed their meal.

We drove home in time to get a nap in the recliners before walking down to Roy & Jeanne’s site for a happy hour.

The snacks and company were excellent as we all visited for a couple of hours.

Ken & Jean are soon to leave for a cruise to Alaska so the happy hour was an excuse to wish them Bon Voyage!

Now, as I write this, we are back home, settled down for the evening, and ready to watch some TV before getting a good night of sleep.

Life is Good!
