The weather here at Mountaindale has been fantastic, with days of similar conditions.

The early morning sunrise usually reveals clear skies, low humidity, and cool temperatures in the mid to upper 50’s.

The sun seems to climb rapidly and bring warmer temps, climbing up to the mid to upper 80’s.

By noon, those familiar cauliflower clouds form and the breeze picks up, making it quite comfortable to be in the shade outdoors.

The wind often is strong enough to rock the RV a bit, and causes us to retract the awning. Spending the winters in the Rio Grande Valley has us used to that! LOL

We may usually be found in the comfort of our lounge chairs inside the screened porch, with our latest book.

We try to walk a mile and a half at least four times a week. Today we made it two miles and we hope to gradually increase our distance as the summer continues.

This afternoon I lit the grill and put a couple of thick steaks on to cook, while Marilyn fixed the side dish.

We did spend some time looking at Condos for sale in the Branson, MO area. Mainly out of curiosity and we are not planning on hanging up the keys and getting off the road any time soon.

We both spent some time in the screened room, but it was hot today and we went back inside to the A/C, took our showers, and settled in to watch some TV and get a good night of sleep.

I'll post some pictures taken around here today. Enjoy!

Our friends, John & Lori, from Topeka, KS will be here tomorrow and we will host a cookout, featuring a margarita for Lori.
