Today Catherine and JoBeth took on the challenging Angels Landing Trail which has been described as one of the most famous and thrilling hikes in the National Park System, with deep chasms on each side and chains to steady the hikers at the highest peaks. They did great! The rest of us took the more leisurely stroll along the Riverside Walk and later some of us took on the more challenging Emerald Pool Trail with cliffs and waterfalls. The whole day was a wonderful and exhausting experience. We had lunch at the Zion Lodge, looking out over the towering cliffs. A beautiful day!
