"Journey from the natural wonder that is the Giants Causeway to the rugged seacoast of the Southwest as you experience the unrivaled beauty of Ireland. Walk the Walls of Derry, and discover Northern Ireland's troubled history in Belfast. Witness the haunting beauty of the Inishowen peninsula in county Donegal and journeying south, explore the stone age passage tombs of Newgrange. Learn about Irish emigration while in Cork and encounter some of Ireland's treasures - its people - as you meet a Member of Parliament in Belfast and dine with local families in county Cork."
This is the way the Road Scholar brochure describes the trip I will be taking in June.
Finally, after a year, I am getting to take the tour that I had to cancel last June because of health issues. Like the Costa Rica trip, my ability to post a blog every day will depend on access to internet connection. Some of the entries may have to wait until I get home so be patient!
The weather should be "interesting". I will be going from 90 degree weather to highs in the 50s and 60s! That's winter weather to me!
I am sooooo excited!
