Manti City Hall

The town seemed so well groomed

First glimpse of Manti City Temple

The sun was behind the steeple, I caught the sun shining through...

It was just a tad cold out

Love the old Victorian homes

A small reservoir

Snow on the mountains ahead...good place for it !

This old car needs some TLC

The small building all fenced in, was once a Texaco station...I just...

Clear highways !

So cute !

Salina is a very small town with not a lot to do or see, unless your into riding quads. The owner of the RV Park told us there are lots of 4-wheel trails close by. We did get out & do some Geo Cache, there were several in town, but they were right in some of the residential areas. We have a real problem with running around in neighborhoods looking for cache. You never know what people will do if they see you snooping about, so we opted out those searches.

We did get out for a couple of rides, mostly up & down Hwys 89 & 24....just wanted to see what was there. We drove through some of the cutest towns, some of the homes were Victorian in style & were just beautiful.

We did drive into Manti City, where I took a photo of Manti Utah Temple, construction of the Temple was completed in 1888. When I took the photo (of course I was shooting it from the truck window) I thought it would be cool to catch the sun behind the steeple, I didn't realize that I had caught the sun shining through one of the steeple windows until I reviewed the photo on my camera. I told Pete I couldn't do that again if I tried. It was way cool!
