Two sea days and 1156 miles brought us to the small Yap Island, Micronesia. This island is called the Land of Stone Money because of the huge stone disks that represent money. These stones never move but they do change ownership when used to purchase something. Although the US dollar is used on this island, the stone money still has value. We walked around the town, visited the Living History Museum and checked out the stone money.
