A view of Batemans Bay

The river mouth at Narooma

Blue Pool at Bermugui

Tathra Beach, where the lady was taken by a shark a little...

Friday 25th April

We have decided to do a round trip of about 500kms today, going over to the coast and down a bit, then inland and back up to our caravan. Not a lot to say about today but I will just put up some photos of our trip.

We left around 8.30am and first up we went to Bateman's Bay on the coast. We were both impressed with this town, a very pretty town. As we drove through the locals were getting ready for their Anzac parade. From the lookout point, we watched Dolphins play in the Bay, unfortunately no decent photos of this.

We then went through Narooma, again they are getting ready for the Anzac Day march.

Then we went to Bermugui, where we spotted an area called Blue Pool, this is a salt water pool on the edge of the ocean, I think this would be very popular in summer and amazingly it is only 17 degrees here and people were swimming, must be on holiday from Tassie...

Then we headed off to Tathra Beach, this is the beach where a lady was taken by a shark a short while ago. It was quite a lovely spot and even with the weather a little cold there again were quite a few people swimming.
