Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

We went to bed a bit worn out last night, and nearly overslept this morning.

We did have time for coffee, and I took a cup with me in the car when we drove to meet our daughter and granddaughter.

It sure is a delight to see that little smiling face each morning when we drive up there. She brightens our day for sure.

Back at the RV we played with Lauren for awhile, then drove out to the Garth Mansion to see John & Julie, who own this beautiful B&B here in Hannibal.

We sat with our friends, sharing good conversation along with coffee and cake, while Lauren and Will, the grandson of our friends, played together.

The Llamas were a big hit with the little ones. They even fed them some carrots that Julie gave to them for that purpose.

We returned to the RV in time to have some lunch and get Lauren down for her nap.

Our friend Jeff, stopped by to chat for a few minutes, while I was fixing some oyster stew for lunch. He is one of those nice folks who have that one tiny character flaw, of not liking raw oysters. LOL

Well, we can’t all enjoy them or there might not be enough for those of us who love ‘em.

We still have no internet here at the campground. I can post the blog using the tethering function on the cell phone, but, as I mentioned yesterday, the pictures must wait until the Wi-Fi service has been restored.

Marilyn decided to fix us some ham steak and veggies for dinner.

Then we’ll settle down in our comfy PJ’s to watch “Dancing With The Stars” and do some reading before dropping off to sleep.

Life is Good!
