Yesterday evening, we sat outdoors and heard a familiar voice from next door. It was an old friend, Harold, who used to fly for another company based nearby. His wife, Karen, was also familiar as she was a secretary at the airport here in Hannibal.
Harold retired a few years ago and we had a nice, interesting visit about the full time RV life.
It is always a pleasure to see and visit with old friends.
Today, Marilyn & I enjoyed a fine breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, juice, and coffee, then took our showers and dressed in clean, comfortable clothing.
We decided to go to a movie today. We selected the matinee because there usually isn’t much of a crowd, and the prices are lower.
Today we went to see “God’s Not Dead” at the 1:40 showing, and were pleased to see nearly every seat in the theater filled.
People applauded several times, and the movie, although predictable in parts, was well made and very enjoyable.
I would suggest very much, that you go see it if you have not yet done that.
It’s nice to see Hollywood making a movie like that, and I’m happy that the public is supporting it so much.
We were back home in time to watch the leaders play the back nine at the Master’s Golf Tourney.
Marilyn fixed a nice stir fry for our dinner and we relaxed in our PJ’s for the ending of the day.
It sure was a fine, fun, relaxing day today, and that makes it easy to remember that Life is Good!
