Jeff and Seneca's Australian Campervan Journey 2014 travel blog

HI Friends! Here's a rough overview of our trip:

Seneca and I begin our journey to Australia on April 28th. On that day we fly to Honolulu, then change planes, and fly nonstop to Brisbane. Hawaiian Airlines all the way. We leave Hilo on the morning of the 28th, and land in Brisbane on the afternoon of the 29th....losing a day due to the International Dateline.

The plan is to stay a night in Brisbane, at the Essence Serviced Apartments Hotel, a 4.5 star-rated Hotel. The next morning, the 30th, we pick up our campervan in Brisbane, then head down the coast, to the Black Rocks Campground, in Bundjalung National Park, in the state of New South Wales. Then on to meet Grem and Robin, in Coffs Harbour. After a night visiting them, we will begin our long, 1200 mile journey up to Cairns, Queensland. We will be staying at Palm Cove Holiday Park Campground, in Palm Cove, for a few days, visiting Robin and Grem, who will fly there to meet us.

After Cairns, Seneca and I will embark on an adventure through the outback, with no particular plan in mind, other than to arrive back in Brisbane on June 5th, when we fly back to Hawaii.

We welcome you following our adventures, and I will keep the site loaded with photos and videos for your perusal! The blog will start after we arrive in OZ!

Jeff.
