|Well today we had the RV washed and waxed, it had been a while since we could get it done, it was long overdo. We had two Sandhill Cranes visit the pond/marsh behind our RV, they squawked a lot and they were spreading / flapping their wings, they were preening and finally they took flight, it was very interesting to see the lead crane lower his body, stretch its neck and aim in the direction they would take flight. Never saw that phenomena before. Later, we saw a flock of four Sandhill Cranes fly by. There were other birds in the area, not sure of the names of the species. We had our visit from the cows and their calves. There was a female with horns, was not aware a cow had horns always thought it was only bulls. The sunset was not spectacular, in fact it was non existent, but the sky was still beautiful. We have our favorite bird emblazoned on both sides of our satellite dish, The Bald Eagle.
