Brazil Bound travel blog

Greetings All,

I hope your April is off to a fabulous beginning:)

Once again the breakfast was a gourmet feast of four courses!! We're not even allowed to eat until my mom takes the pictures:(

So delicious; and worth the wait! Served respectably at 8:00 Atlantic Time, we all find the morning care free and low key.

This final leg of our vacation is really intended to relax and feel refreshed before returning to work on Monday. With this in mind, we casually thought we'd walk to the Market and take in the sites and sounds. I needed to attend a staff meeting via Internet so wanted to stay close by. When chatting with our hostess, she made some nice suggestions for the next few days we are here; and then offered that we visit the Yacht Club. Now we had walked past it yesterday as it is literally only 700 metres away. We knew therefore that it was private. When we said as much, she simply said, "You can go as my guests since I am a member."

After our draws collectively dropped, we said, "Thank-you!!"

"There is free wi-fi there also for you."

Within a few short minutes we changed and began walking downhill.

We chose a table in the shade and I logged on to Internet and attended my staff meeting outside, in my bathing suit, in Brazil, at the Yacht Club! Never in my wildest dreams would I even think of such an experience. Just watching the many-sized boats during the hours we were there was eventful from the enormous ocean liners to the one-man sailing ships. I'll have to add 'Yacht Club' to my Bucket List just so I can cross it off!!
