Today was the final day for Bob & Janet and Jesse & Ginger to be here in Kerrville for this trip.
They are leaving tomorrow, so today we mainly wanted to spend some time with these good friends.
I managed to get a few chores done. Bob was outdoors and gave me a hand installing the Bike Rack on the back of the car, moving the step ladder and support on the back of the RV, and putting a new connector on the camera cable from the RV to the truck.
The sun peeked out several times during the morning but wouldn’t stay. It only teased us with the light and warmth.
Marilyn & I shared a nice salad for lunch and then the whole group, which included Mike & Sandy, gathered to play Mexican Train.
Mike & Sandy wanted to learn how to play this game and that was all the excuse we needed to spend an afternoon having fun.
The good natured bickering and constant harassment, mixed with the one-liners offered by Jesse and some of the others, kept the laughter going, and we all had a good time.
The game broke up in time for the group of friends to drive into town to a Mexican Restaurant called Mamacita’s, for dinner.
We have enjoyed meals here several times in the past and the food has always been excellent.
We were stuffed by the time we waddled out of the restaurant and headed home.
Now a little TV and a good night of sleep, so that we can be up in time to see our friends before they leave tomorrow.
Life is Good!
