We sure enjoyed our day yesterday. It was so nice to see good friends after several years have gone by without seeing them.
It was warm enough to have our coffee outdoors this morning, but it was a bit foggy and there was moisture in the air.
We put the awning out and sat under it with our steaming cups of coffee, just talking quietly and enjoying the early morning sounds of the birds.
Once the coffee and scones (A gift from Pat & Dan) were finished off, we busied ourselves with a few chores. Marilyn cleaned the RV, mopped the floors, and did laundry.
I made the bed, then visited with Bob outdoors, where a gentleman who recently purchased a brand new Mobile Suite, walked by and stopped to ask a few questions about our RV’s.
Later Bob helped me to determine that the wooden valance for a bedroom window, was no longer needed, so I wrapped it up and stored it in the basement storage area. Thanks, Bob!
Marilyn & I ate a bite of lunch, then settled down to watch some of the March Madness on TV.
Marilyn continued working on her cross-stitch project so I’m not sure how much basketball she actually watched.
Jesse & Ginger walked over to visit for awhile and that was a good thing because we won’t see each other again until next winter once they leave here next Tuesday.
We hope to see Bob & Janet back in Hannibal before they leave for Alaska with Jesse & Ginger.
In the meantime, back to Kerrville…..
Mike & Sandy are on the way here, to stay for a week or so, and I’m sure we’ll find some mischief to get into while we are together.
So that is the way our day has gone today.
Tomorrow is another day and we’ll write about that when the time comes. Now, all you have to do is remember that Life is Good!
