After an unsuccessful tour of the National Congress, we went to the Power Square where the Executive; Justice and Legislative buildings form a triangle. A structure in the shape of a dove remembers the heroes and heroines of the past who paved the way of government in Brasil's history from Monarchy to Military Dictatorship to the present Republic.
We returned to Milton's beautiful, modern home where we lingered on the outdoor patio and had a delicious lunch of beef (carne), beans (feijão tropeiro), yucca root (mandioca), rice (arroz) and salada farofa and tropical juice(caja).
Later I took some photos of the grounds just outside Milton's home in the public space.
We are almost ready to go the university.
