Sunday March 9th, Our first stop after leaving Cedar Key, spent the night at a PA club campground in DeFunaik Springs Fl. Nice and quiet place by a small lake.

Monday March 10th, Hammond La, another nice quiet PA campground by a River. Next night had to take pot luck with the G.P.S. pick, it was late and we were tired, campground was the worst one we have ever stayed in, it was outside of Houston, Tx.

Wednesday March 12th to 19th, Canyon Lake Texas in the Hill country of Texas, very nice place, this is one of our club campgrounds so staying 7 days at $10 a night. A lot to see around this area, we are half way between San Antonio and Austin. The Guadalupe River comes through here, a lot of Fishing and Tubing.

Thursday March 20th, El Paso.

We are enjoying the Sunny days and warmer weather here in Texas, We did not care much for Florida, been there and won't be going back.

Staying about two weeks, nice weather in the 70s and sunny, have had some windy days, this is usual in the Spring, you see a lot of Tumble Weed blowing around, it was on the news today that a neighborhood had areas 7 feet high of Tumble Weed.

Visited with our friends from when we lived here in the mid 80s, a great visit and they were so happy to see us.
