The Bridge Out Of Caminha

Wet Street

High winds all night so a bit of rocking & buffeting. No trees near us on this site so no worries about falling branches. It started to rain early in the morning & ended up raining all day. We moved up the coast to our last overnight stop in Portugal right on the border at Caminha, a very pretty location at the mouth of the river that forms the border with Spain.

We very rarely see any motorhomes now as we move further North. They have all gone to the warmer & sunnier South coasts of Spain & Portugal. The more adventurous go across to Morocco even, which is a tempting idea for another year. We really enjoyed Morocco when we took a motorhome there twenty years ago. A really interesting & varied country.

I did go out in the rain in the afternoon for the usual walk round & hunt for geocaches. I got wet as well as logging two caches & picking up a bunch of flowers for my Valentine.
