Today I decided that I was going to visit a whole new city in Peru, so I picked Trujillo, La Libertad, Peru. Trujillo is a moderately large city, and is very close to the Pacific Ocean. This city was founded in 1534 among 4 Chimu settlements. Trujillo's location makes the city known for its amazing seafood, and the beaches and the beach resorts.
But before I took off to this city I went to visit the Sacred Valley in the City of Cuzco which worked out well because you have to drive through Cuzco to get to Trujillo. The valley is a very pretty sight and has very interesting land markings amongst it.
So far my trip has been a very productive trip and i have learned so much and seen things I didn't believe existed. I have eaten some wonderful food these past three days. The food in Peru is very different and you have a wide variety to choose from. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and maybe even a snack is always something new or if you choose you can always stick with American food. I can't wait to see what the other few days has in store for me and see what new restaurants I come up on, and decide to try.
