Pat had to turn on the furnace this morning, have not done that for over a week.
We went to a swap meet on Winchester/SR-79. This was better than we all thought it was gonna be.
We bought some T-shirts 4 for $10, we will have to see how they shrink, lol. Pat got a leather belt for $15, pretty reasonable.
We continued on to Maurice Car-Rie Winery, Laurel was our DD today. Pat and i enjoyed there selections of wine. Pat likes the whites and me the reds. $17.95 and 22.75 per bottle respectively.
After our wine tasting we visited old town Temecula. The town has done an upstanding job of preserving most of the old buildings along main street. We park the car and walked throughout downtown.
We tasted more wine at Villa de Callabro, there wine tasting is downtown located in a yellow house built in 1927. their front and back patio were very relaxing. We sample many red & white wines for a small fee, and then we sampled over a dozen olive oils and vinegar's.
We were all rookies at olive oil tasting, we would recommend this to everyone, some of the combinations were amazing and surprising. These were not the regular oil & vinegar's mixtures.
All and all we would love to repeat this day, had a greeat time....
