Jan 20 - Monday - We doing pretty much as back home in the summer. Getting to know the lay of Hemet. Easy to get around. We have been shopping for a bike, cant seem to find a good one in stock, out of season.

The Winter here is the DRIEST on record, ever.... The fruit and vegetable growers need water, not oil.. California provides about 75% of the USA with produce. With lack of water, you can only imagine the turmoil that could result with out some rain.

As ususal we met some great people who are dirt-less (homeless)from Nevada, they just travel from one relative to another, they've been full timing for a couple of years.

Jan 21 - nothing, nothing and more nothing

Jan 22 - ddd - Drew Designated Driver, we went on a wine tour of the Temecula valley, forget about the Napa Valley wines, these ones are just as good.

We started our drive turning onto a road to nowhere, driving past Skinner Lake Reservoir and through a nice hill country road, RV-there-yet, after a 15-20 min drive from Hemet we arrive at our first winery. Wilson Creek was the first one we stop at and the bottles were about $25 and up, you could buy a 6 Liter bottle for $400(that's half price). Then we drove past a half a dozen vineyards to arrive at South Coast Winery, one that everyone really enjoyed(i had to try a cab-sav glass. It was time to leave after only two(2) winerys. It was a nice and relaxing afternoon as none of us have done this before. DDD - says " next week tour - Breweries>>>>>>> yahoo
