Second Day At Sea
Jan 13, 2014
|Today, most of the group decided to have breakfast together in one of the dining rooms.
After breakfast we all scattered about the ship to do our own thing.
Marilyn & I took our beach towels and hiked to the aft portion of the ship to occupy a deck lounge chair and relax.
The weather was awesome and we soaked up the sun for awhile.
Sometime during the morning we noticed a couple in a nearby hot tub waving at us. It was Chuck and Marian. Mike was one deck down sitting right at the railing on the aft end of the ship.
The pool at the rear of the ship is seldom crowded and you have some sort of privacy most of the time.
Marilyn & I finally moved to the shade, and Chuck and Marian did the same, joining Mike for awhile.
Later, Marilyn & I grabbed some pizza for lunch, then returned to our cabin, to sit on the balcony with friends.
We ended up with Jesse & Ginger, Bob & Janet, and us, all on our rather small balcony.
The six of us went upstairs for awhile to sit by the pool, after Marilyn & I took care of some business.
We cancelled our submarine adventure in Cozumel, then purchased several photographs taken last night.
We haven’t had a nice picture of ourselves taken for many years now and last night was our opportunity to do that.
I may scan the one we purchased and post it here after the cruise.
Our entire group of ten plans to meet in the bar which has become a favorite (Actually the only one we have selected so far), for a martini making demonstration later this evening before dinner.
After dinner we will go to the theater for a show featuring a Johnny Cash impersonator. We look forward to that.
