We left Phoenix around noon on November 24th heading to Frankfurt, Germany on US Airways, and arrived there around 11:30am on the 25th. Natalie and Nathan picked us up at the Frankfurt Airport from where we made the 1 hour drive to Kottweiler-Schwanden, Germany where they are renting a really nice duplex not far from Ramstein Air Force Base where Ryen is based for 4 years. We stayed there with them during our 3 week stay in Germany when we weren't on the road visiting some really interesting and beautiful places in Germany, Belgium and France. Ryen was able to get a lot of time off and we were able to travel together in their Volkswagen Toureg with Nathan in his car seat between Nancy and I. What a great kid he is, and what a wonderful time we had together.
