We sure enjoyed a nice dinner with friends last night at “Olive Garden”.

We rode with Tom & Jan, meeting up with two other couples at the restaurant.

The food and service were just great, and the free wine tasting all through dinner made for a very festive atmosphere.

This morning, Marilyn began cooking quite early. She fixed dressing, green beans, a cranberry/applesauce dish, and a peach cobbler. I fixed noodles in chicken broth and grabbed a bottle of wine to share with our friends, and we were off for an awesome Christmas Dinner with friends, Jesse & Ginger.

During the morning, before we left for the drive over to Mission, Texas, we Skyped with the kids and grandkids. We were able to watch as they unwrapped their gifts from Mimi & Papa and it was really appreciated by us. Thank you Jennifer & Steve for making us a part of this Christmas morning.

We sure miss our family at this time of year!

We chatted with Bob & Janet, then spoke with Mike & Marian on the phone.

It was a fine morning for sure and then we were ready for more fun and a great meal.

We loaded the car with food and drove off to Jesse & Ginger’s place at Bentsen Palm Village.

It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed our Christmas Dinner outdoors. We enjoyed the entire day and especially the time we spent with friends.

After the meal we rode with Ginger to Roger & Joyce’s place to leave a plate of food in the fridge for Joyce. She continues to spend her time at the hospital with Roger who is showing some improvement but remains in ICU. Your prayers are certainly appreciated for these fine friends.

Back at Jesse & Ginger’s we played three games of “Sequence” with the guys winning all three.

We left our friends with hugs and sincere thanks for all they did to make this day special.

Before we drove off we walked across the street to wish Scott and Annie a Merry Christmas.

Back at our own RV Marilyn worked for awhile getting extra food put away and dishes done.

We spoke on the phone with Joyce and with our daughter, Jennifer.

Now it is time to relax and get a good night of sleep.

We hope that Christmas has blessed all of you as much as we have been blessed.

Life is Good!
