|Yesterday was warm (86 degrees) so the air conditioner ran all day. But that's much better than what was happening in Branson and Russellville. They had cold rain and lots of it.
Last night was our Christmas party in the park. We had a huge crowd of about 125 to 150 people. It took forever to play the games, but everybody had lots of fun. There were lots of laughs and even more food. The party started at 6:30 and it was after 10:00 when we got home.
I had a nice gift for most of the night, but a lady came and traded for mine with a box of Christmas cards. At least I won't have to buy any cards next year.
Jackie had 2 pints of jelly until right at the last and someone traded him two ball point pens for them. But that's the way the game is played.......
This morning we rode to church with Ken and Deanna. The service was wonderful and we sang lots of Christmas songs. It's my favorite time of the year.
The pastor called his wife on the phone and held it up to the microphone so we could hear her. She sounded weak, but it was wonderful to hear her voice. There were very few dry eyes in the house. She still needs lots of prayers as she has a long way to go yet.
After church we stopped at Lake Alfred Diner for lunch. Ken and I had breakfast and Jackie and Deanna had lunch. They have really good food.
After we got home, Jackie changed clothes and left for his walk. It was pretty warm and he worked up a sweat today.
I read some of the paper and played on the computer and I'm pretty sure I took a few power naps. I can always tell when that happens. I find my head laying over on my shoulder and my computer screen has gone black.....
That's about all for this time. Tomorrow starts another busy week here in sunny Florida. And it's almost Christmas!!!!!
Until next time....God Bless you all.....
