Little to Nothing Done Today
Dec 21, 2013
|This was one of those days when we did little or nothing all day.
I didn’t sleep all that great last night, waking several times.
We slept with the windows open and the wind blew throughout the night. The temperature was comfortable with only a sheet for cover and the breeze was wonderful.
After our morning coffee Marilyn left for some shopping at the Flea Market.
When she returned I took the car and drove to the Fitness Center to work out.
I thought about riding the bike, but the wind was blowing so hard that I gave up on that idea.
Back at the RV we ate a bite of lunch and then wasted the rest of the afternoon with computer games and mindless TV.
I did watch the Northwest Missouri Football game, when they won their fourth National Championship in NCAA Div II.
Our daughter, Jennifer, attended NW Missouri State University for her Freshman year of school, where she attained a 3.80 GPA.
Marilyn & I decided to have a movie day with DVD movies we haven’t yet watched.
That is the way our evening will go, if everything works out as planned.
We haven’t heard from Joyce today, but we do know that she & Roger continue to need prayers.
Although we constantly remind our readers that Life is Good, we are aware that for many of our friends and relatives, life is a struggle right now.
We will continue to pray for all of them.
So dear readers, in the end, we can say that Life is Good!
