The Capper Nomads Europe Adventure travel blog

Today we left Spain and crossed into Portugal travelling just over 200 miles Now we could tow again!. As we entered Portugal the scenery changed dramatically. We were now in mountains similar to northern California . The electronically tolled motorway made its way through the mountains. It was just spectacular with long vistas and rocky outcrops pity didn’t have the camera handy.

We arrived at the campground on the Portuguese coast. The campground had a nice wide entrance, good wide internal roads, very tall pine trees, a number of long and wide solid pitches we could get onto, easily accessible dump facilities and electricity which was wired correctly. The only problem we had was we need a 1 inch to ¾” inch connector adaptor to fill our tank. That was quickly solved by visiting the small hardware shop just down the road from the campground. The campground was also a good price at just 10 Euros a night.

It was also much warmer at last!

It had been a long day and with changing time zones we were beat.
