A very nice morning with more awesome weather greeted us this morning. After our coffee was finished off we cleaned things up and headed off to church.
We really enjoyed Mass and then drove to the “DonWes Flea Market” where I picked up the hitch cover we had modified.
Marilyn then went shopping for some clothing and found some very nice things that she had to bring home to model for me.
After the modeling was complete, we ate a lite lunch and then were set for the afternoon.
She went outdoors to read her latest book. Believe it or not, she is reading a Tom Clancy book called “Without Remorse” and can hardly put it down.
I stayed inside trying to resolve some issues with our on-line banking. Our home town bank was recently sold and now we have to change a bunch of things with automatic deposits and on-line bill paying, etc.
The problem is that I cannot do anything until next Tuesday.
I also have to take care of our mail service because I realized that I have not yet given our new address to our mail forwarding service.
I’ll call them tomorrow.
We have plans to meet friends for lunch next Thursday. It will be good to see Roger & Joyce again.
On Friday, friends are coming here for dinner. It is always a fun evening when we spend time with Mike & Marian and Chuck & Coletta.
Dale & Linda arrived this afternoon, and it sure is nice to see them again. They are a nice couple, one from Canada and one from Kansas.
Marilyn & I received school pictures from Jennifer. It not only included Colby’s picture, but also Lauren’s and a couple of Jennifer.
Marilyn & I sat outdoors for awhile, enjoying a cold drink and talking about the week ahead.
We do have a busy week ahead of us. That is fine with us because we are enjoying every day here in the RGV.
Life is Good!
