Ross & Marge's European Cruise travel blog

The packing is completed except for the last minute items and around noon time tomorrow we will be picked up by the Airport Shuttle for the ride to the San Francisco Airport. The Air France flight to Paris is a 10.5 hour direct flight that Ross is not looking forward to but the swim would be even longer. We change planes in Paris for a 1.5 hour flight to Venus, Italy where we board the Royal Caribbean ship the Legend of the Seas for twenty days.

Entries to this blog may be spotty because we do not know how good the WIFI service will be on board or if there will be any WIFI service at all. If there is poor or no WIFI service on board the ship we may be able to obtain some service at ports along the way. Therefore entries to the blog may be spotty or possibly there will be no entries until we return to the US, at which time we will send all of the entries at once.

Thursday morning Ross met with his new cardiologist and during the conversation he mentioned the cruise and he thought the doctor was going to have a heart attack. The doctor asked if his wife was in the waiting room and when Ross said, yes, the doctor ran out to the waiting room and returned with Marge. The good doctor then began a short lecture on what Ross should and should not eat and the basic premise was, "If it tastes good spit it out." Is this going to be a fun trip or what? The doctor would like Ross to move his room assignment to the onboard gym and not leave the gym until the ship docks in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on November 12.

That is all for now,

Ross & Marge
