|Through with Colorado and into Nebraska, Sidney, the home of Cabela's. In fact we are even staying in the Cabela's campground, 100 yards from the front door. Drove through some beautiful country until we got to Denver and then realized we were in civilization; people, houses, cattle, horses, CORN fields, even Walmarts. From our campground in Gypsum, we had snow down to the edge of the road, in places, until we got to the Eisenhower/Johnson tunnel, at 11,000 feet. Sherry almost passed out from holding her breath as we went through the tunnel, 1 1/2miles. Went through Vail and several other ski resorts where the ski lifts started out right in town and the ski trails ended up back in town....very nice but looked very expensive. Terrain went from mountains to the West of Denver to flat country in the East. Spending Sherry's money at Cabela's tomorrow, Midway, SD on Friday.
