Lunch-Smoked Salmon Club Sandwich

Small bookstore

Dinner

Today was a somewhat slow day. It was cold and rainy 55 degrees with wind! We spent the morning researching different museums and other landmarks we are interested in seeing before we leave Thursday. After much deliberation, we determined a two day museum pass was the way to go and a two metro pass for transportation to the different sights. Yesterday we walked over 25,000 steps, the Metro seems like a saner option. It took us a couple of hours to accomplish the task of figuring out where to find the passes but we succeeded. We headed back to our neighborhood in the 7th arrondissement to get some lunch.

I had no idea you could have a club sandwich with smoked salmon but it was quite tasty. We sat out on the patio and ate. The cafe had outside heaters on so we were able to people watch for a bit, until the wind and temperature dropping became to much to bear. We continued to wander down rue Cler and stumbled upon a nice bookstore

all of the books were in French so no purchases were made. Dinner was a question mark since we finished the last of our chicken yesterday. On our way back to our flat to change into dry socks and shoes we passed by a store called Picard. Picard is a store that sells only frozen food and since all of the markets were closed today this is what dinner ended up being

. Oh and after our shopping experience at Picard we walked down the street to a lovely wine shop that had Moscato!! Needless to say dinner was delicious.
