This morning I attended the first DAR meeting of our new fiscal year. Our program was by a member of a Kerrville chapter about the six DAR schools. All the schools are unique and are located in beautiful areas. They have very good success with turning troubled and poverty-stricken students around. We accepted 16 new members today!
After the meeting I went to my new doctor’s office to give him a copy of a report on ten drugs that can cause memory loss. I asked him whether I could take sublingual vitamins B12 and B6 combined with folic acid instead of a statin drug for high cholesterol. He agreed to the substitution but I’ll have to have another blood test in two months. I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the supplements will lower my cholesterol.
