Today we spent the day in Cannes, France which is also a part of the Cote d Azur, it is west of Vence. The trip was supposed to be a short 30 minute drive but due to construction once we arrived it took 1 hr and 15 minutes. Parking was an adventure as always, by today being the 2nd day of the Boat show it was chaotic but organized. We found a spot and then Nikki and I went to find a nice cafe for lunch. We ended up at "New York, New York" a nice sidewalk cafe. After lunch we headed back across the streets to tour the boats.

we had fun window shopping lol! It was hot in the sun.

After we exhausted all of the boats we decided to hop aboard a small tour by "Petite Trains" it was a nice retreat from the blazing sun. We learn historical information about the city and little known facts. For example the movie Transporter 2 was filmed in Cannes. Some pictures taken while aboard

After our tour we thought instead of moving the car we would walk to dinner and pass time by looking in the windows of the shops lining Boulevard De Croisette. This street runs parallel to the beach and Mediterranean Sea. Some of the shops we passed were Gucci, Louis Vutton, Fendi, Cartier and many others. Dinner this evening was at Miramar Plage a beach restaurant.

we are really having a nice time and hope you have enjoyed reading about our adventure thus far!

Until tomorrow,

Chelci & Will
