Picturesque view from Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

Today was a fun filled day. We started the day out with heading down to Nice along The Promenade des Anglais to explore the outdoor markets along The Cours Saleya , on our way to find a place to park I captured this shot

Today's weather was absolutely beautiful high of 80 and sunny. We discovered on Mondays the markets along The Cours Saleya are antique markets. We decided to return tomorrow to view the flower, produce, restaurants, sidewalk cafes and souvenir shops. We walked across the Promenade des Anglais to stop and have lunch at Opera Plague, a beach side restaurant.

After we had lunch we went and picked up Nikki from the Nice Airport then headed straight to the Villa Ephrussi de Rotheschild and Jardins in St Jean Cap Ferrat. The Villa was quite large and the gardens absolutely breathtaking.

After touring the gardens we determined dinner was the next stop and decided to drive to Eze which is a small city close to Monaco. We ended up at Le Cafe du Jardin, which is located at Chateau la Chèvre d'Or. I've decided the combination of picturesque views and great friends make this the best club sandwich I've ever had!

Our trek back to Vence was only supposed to take 30 mins, Lol we got our first taste of south of France rush hour traffic. And that my friend is a whole 'nother story for a different day!

Au Revoir,

Chelci & Will
