|With afternoon temp’s forecasted to be in the upper 90’s, we decided to do our hiking in the morning.
We got an early start and drove to the Zion NP Visitor center and took a shuttle to the Zion Lodge stop, where we hiked the trail to the Lower Emerald Pool. Once at the Lower Emerald Pool, the trail took us behind two small waterfalls and through a narrow passage between two rock formations. From Lower Emerald Pool we hiked to the Grotto on the Kayenta Trail. From the Grotto we took a shuttle back to the visitor center.
Following dinner, we relaxed in the campground’s Hot Tub…
