|Day 17 - 215 miles
We did a lot of sightseeing in Dawson City before we left. It was the capital of the Yukon before they moved the capital to Whitehorse. Dawson City was a gold rush town in 1898 and 1899. It fell on hard times and has now been restored to its previous glamor and as a tourist attraction. A replica of Jack London's home is there along with museums and lots of shops
Our trip today was through wilderness with one small town in between. We have learned to fill up with gas every chance we get because we never know how are the next gas station will be. Gas is about $4.50 to $5.00 per gallon.
Not much to tell about the travels today (except for the beautiful scenery, of course) so I will answer questions that you

Yes, we have been locked in the trailer again at night. No panic this time, just got out the old trusty can opener!
No, we do not argue a lot. I guess when we have no one else in our lives right now, we have to be kinder to each other.
YES, YES, Yes, Paul talks to everyone who comes anywhere near the camper or him as he is walking down the street. I, on the other hand, am usually in the camper fixing a wonderful dinner!?!
No, I haven't missed my daily water aerobics class until you mentioned it.
Onward and upward!
