At the suggestion of Ranger Jason, we went to Pine Valley to check out his favorite camping spot. It was a great campground, but a long ways for us to go to for a day or two of tenting. It is about half way between Cedar City & St. George out on Hwy 18. After leaving Pine Valley, we happened to come across a beautiful State Park and area. Snow Canyon. It reminded us of the Moab area. It was AZ hot today, but we are talking about coming here for a stay after we are done working in the fall.

We enjoyed a scrumptious lunch at Kneaders in St. George. Great soup, salad and bakery items. Yum!

After lunch we decided to go check out Quail Creek St. Park off of Hwy 9 as we headed north towards Cedar City. The camp host from this park have come a couple times to our park to get out of the heat. It was hot for sure! It was good to see what there campground looked like. Very nice sites above the reservoir.

Back on I-15 and heading home. It was a long day, but a fun day for a road trip.
