Cones of Yankee Meadows

We are off today to explore FR 048 that connects up to the Yankee Meadows Reservoir that we visited last week with my sister and her family. We entered in from Hwy 143 heading towards Panguitch. This forestry road is the hub for many ATV trails in the area. It was a pretty drive where the terrain was ever changing. Near the top was a great view of looking out over Interstate 15. We even found a couple of potential new tenting sites along this road.
