|Tonight after work, we headed over to the GTA Employee Party which was held at The Brinkerhoff. The Brinkerhoff is a really nice lodge in the park that has been used in the past by such dignitaries as Presidents Kennedy and Nixon. It is a pretty nifty place with an absolutely awesome view of the Tetons.
We each brought a dish to share and our supervisors provided hamburgers and hot dogs. I brought my crock pot baked beans which went over well. I didn't have a drop left. The food was good and plentiful!
The woman who hired us, Roxanne, gave Lee and I Volunteer Certificates that were signed by President Obama thanking us for volunteering. They were awarded for doing over 100 hours of volunteer hours. That was kind of nice! I guess you get something else for more hours but I'm not sure how many.
It was a nice gathering and it was good together outside of work.
