Ed & Marilyn 'The Happy Wanderers' travel blog

Jan, Jeff, Nan (Holding Molly) Eddie, and Roland

This morning we said “So Long” to Jeff, Nan, and Roland. It took several hugs and wishes for safe travel before watching them pull out and head down the road toward New Mexico.

We enjoyed their visit and look forward to seeing them again.

Ed & Jan walked over to sit with us around the campfire, sipping coffee and visiting.

We finally got started on our chores, then made ready for a trip into town.

I filled Marilyn’s car with fuel, then returned a couple of movies to a “Red Box” before driving on to a Mall.

Marilyn stocked up on thread needed to complete her cross-stitch project and then we walked over to a shoe store where she found a new pair of shoes she simply could not live without.

By the time we arrived at the Safeway Shopping Center, my tummy was crying out that it was after any normal lunch time!

We saw Mike & Marian’s car and knew they were in the hair salon, so we stopped long enough to invite them to accompany us to the China Wok restaurant.

They declined because they have more will power than we have!

Marilyn & I enjoyed a fine lunch and then went shopping for groceries.

Actually, Marilyn shopped for groceries while I perused the Blockbuster offerings. I actually found three DVD movies I wanted, for 99 cents each, for a five day rental. Then I was told that I could get another one for free! What a deal!

When I joined Marilyn, she was in the checkout line, but I was in time to carry several sacks of groceries to the car. LOL

Back at the RV we relaxed for awhile, then walked to the office to call our daughter. She started her new job today and it was good to hear that things went really well for her. We are so happy about that and proud of her!

We sat with Jesse & Ginger, and Mike & Marian, for a little bit.

Back home, we watched a DVD movie and then switched over to “American Ninja Warrior” on NBC.

Ed & Jan were sitting outdoors beside a campfire and invited us over but we were totally dedicated to relaxing at home tonight.

Tomorrow is another day.

Life is Good!
