The incredible restored Egyptian Theatre...

Last one!

We visited the city of Delta again today, this time for the steam pot special at Bruce’s Café. They bring you a pot full of crab legs, shrimp, scallops, red potatoes, corn on the cob and Cajun sausage. It was yummy! You also get a salad bar and soup. They have this special on Friday’s only for $15 each.

Delta demonstrates a strong love for public art with numerous murals, sculptures and floral displays all along the Main Street and throughout town. It is a beautiful town with some of the largest and most outstanding flowers we have ever seen. It is also known as the “City of Murals”. We saw several awesome ones and will look for more the next visit too.

We enjoyed the Historic Walking Tour starting at the Egyptian Theater, a 1928 theater completely restored to its original condition. They even have a Tru-Vu Drive-In, we are planning to go at least once before leaving the area. It is a big one holding up to 300 cars. We can't wait to go, it has been a long time since we went to a drive in movie.

I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. Another great day in Colorado, check back later for more.
