Our passage from Alcatraz to the village was very pleasant. We definitely made a great decision to stop the pain yesterday -- much better conditions for heading south today! We caught a sierra mackerel on the way into town again, same as last time. We are sure that as soon as we count on that, we won't catch one.
So, here we are again in BLA Village, for our town errand-running time. There are many more boats since we last visited, with us being anchored with 5 other boats our first night here. There are probably now 20 cruising boats in the area, with 5 or so more on the way. So, less anchorages to ourselves, but more social opportunities.
